We are at 12 inches now. My 3 little babies (Maltese) are to short to handle the large amount of snow!! When I have tried to take them out their little legs are so short they keep falling through the snow. So my only solution is to have about 6 mats on my screen porch for them to do their "business." Not the best but at least not having accidents in the house and I can wash the mats!!

I have to dig a path all around our animals favorite doing their business spots. Each one has a different place here at the house. They seem to figure out OK which path goes to where they usually go to haha...Roy Ken

I shoveled a couple of paths for our 2, shih-Tzu and pug. The pug hates snow and will hardly go off the deck, the shih-Tzu loves it, but with the snow we got with freezing rain on top to form a hard crust, she can't hardly get through it and uses the paths.

I cheat and use the tractor to plow the snow from the fenced in yard.

Our neighbor also shovels a path for his dogs. My 2 make their own path by running back and forth.

I have to make paths for my dogs, too - and they're not particularly small. But this is what it looks like here (we dug this plow out because naturally, someone wanted to buy it)Of course, my dogs LOVE this dug-out-to-the-ground hole...LOL!!
