I feed them twice a day. At one time the Pit was on a diet of green beans & pumpkin to lose weight. I bought low fat food. The grain-free Diamond I feed them now is also 15/25...I don't remember the kind of "Taste of Wild" food. I don't buy lamb because it seems to give him the ability to.."clear a room". :R. The Pit for some reason after I just about gave up slimming him down, lost weight. It worried me enough to have the sonogram done. All's OK.. He's been staying just about right in weight. Now the Rottie went to about 15# overweight. They have been on grain free for a couple years. I started thinking a couple weeks ago, maybe I feed them too late some mornings and that may cause the gas. Maybe that was the cause of the clear barf-up..They now get fed right after our coffee. The Pit suffered all day yesterday with rumbles, he didn't eat. I went out last night to buy Pepcid and started first thing this morning, before coffee, with each a pill.. I'm going to go the suggested Pepcid route with earlier feedings.. I've about given up on diet.. I may put the Rottie on green bean & pumpkin for a while. It lost about only a couple pounds on the Pit..Not much faith in it..They run free on our couple acres and they could use more exercise but it's rattlesnake time and I don't trust them walking on the desert trails....Always something with our pets..... Being others have this problem I'll check back in a couple weeks to update the latest "remedy"... Thanks to all...
