my Boston is 14 and is pretty blind, deaf, but still loves life. I just cant move furniture around much. he was having pain in his knees, and medication was a little pricey. I mentioned to my kids, we might have to put him down.
I have had 6 knee surgery's for pain. they all asked if I should be put down. ordered more pills for dog.
an elderly lady asked me one time if her dog would be in heaven when she gets there. pastor told her no animals go to heaven. I told her heaven will be the happiest place ever, and if your dog made you happy, then why would God not allow her to see her dog. she had a great smile
BTW I am now considered elderly
