Well, I'm glad you choose the cat (instead of human) and decided to find a way to fix it. I'm a cat lover, been one all my life. We have 2 cats ourselves that go camping with us all the time.
Mom says, when I was a very little boy, I'd sleep with the cats in my bed. On many occasions, she'd find me, not using a passifier, but using the end of the cats tail. Cats didn't seem to mind! Sounds kind of repulsive now, but I sure love our cats.
So much for the "fear" that cats and babies or young children cannot co-exist. I figure Mom was just making sure I was developing plenty of anti-bodies by chewing on those tails!
