- rockhillmanorExplorerI have only been asked how many dogs I had.
I have never been asked how many cats so I never had a need to tell them! :W - WandaLust2ExplorerWe travel with 4 cats and haven't had one problem yet. CGs require you to keep them inside or on a leash.
- dsuretteExplorerAt one time we had four cats that we traveled with. Unfortunately we are down to three now. We have never had a bit of trouble with any campground operators concerning our cats. If they would ask about pets we would tell them about our cats and that they stayed inside. Never was a problem.

Whether you get reported depends on who's around.
The only time you could, in general, get "reported" is if you have a cat that roams off leash. Most parks allow pets, including cats, but many parks hold cats to the same leash rules as dogs. We have full timed with our cat for 6 years. He goes out on a leash only. some people let their cats out in an enclosure, when they are around to watch over them.
Biggest issue we have is when they make us stay in the "pet" section which means we are surrounded by dogs, and not all of them are always on a leash. Plus the dogs go nuts when a cat is around.

Whether you get reported depends on who's around. - OhiojudeExplorerWe travel with 3 cats. Never had any issues but they are inside only. I will bring them out with a leash and they will sit on my lap but that is it. We have camped at places that do not allow pets and was told if anyone complained then we would have to leave. We never brought them out so no one knew or reported us. Hope this helps.
- wannavolunteerFExplorerhave traveled with my mom and taken her cat along several times. I don't even know if we have reported having cat at registration. I don't remember having done it. That being said we have primarily stayed at public parks that allow pets and don't require you to register them when you check in. Cat stays inside unless on leash attached to her harness when traveling. A previous poster mentioned cats using his site as a litter box, but the funny thing is on the last trip over Christmas, cat would wander outside (on leash) and then use the litter box in trailer after she came in. Guess she didn't have the privacy she wanted outside. LOL. Just like the middle aged or older ladies she was traveling with.
- phillygExplorer IISome parks do limit the number of pets you can have, but I've never disclosed it when bringing our two cats (plus one dog) because the cats never leave the RV, nor do I think they should.
- ngreenExplorerI have traveled for years with a cat, currently two. One roams and other then encounters with bear and a bob cat, he loves it. I always try to stay away from busy streets. When parks ask what pets you have and I say cats and bird they never say anything else.
- n7bsnExplorerWe also travel with ours and parks never worry.
But then ours are INSIDE cats, letting a cat out I can promise there will come a time when your cat disappears, either gets scared and runs away to hide, or becomes a meal for an apex predator
