Where do you keep the cat litter box? Also, where does your cat ride when using a TT?

Ours travel in a soft sided crate within a city, but are allowed to roam once on the highway. One sleeps onto of the crate, the other on the armrest between my DW and me.
We have scratching posts in the Fiver. The only marks on the furniture are from them playing "Thundering Herd of Elephants" at 2:00AM.
