I've always loved dogs, but after a 20 year absence of a dog friend, I was content to be without one and we had just started rv-ing in a MH and we were totally into the joys of traveling.
So then DH decided we need to get another dog.
I resisted, listing all the good reasons for not saddling ourselves with a pet while roaming around the country.
But we got a dog and of course, he became our "fur kid" and we adjusted to the limitations (not many) of having to think about him when planning a trip or an excursion.
But
DH is the dog walker/doctor/feeder and cleaner-up of any messes, etc. All I do is enjoy being adored by a pet :)
So if she gets a dog, spell it out at the beginning and make it stick as hard as possible. DH has to be bed ridden or in the hospital to get out of walking the dog.
