Always amazed at the ignorance and stupidity that these posts bring out. Lots of folks who talk a big game about destroying them, and have no idea of what the cameras really capture.
I have a DJI Mavic Pro. They are a lot of fun to fly, and give you a perspective in a way you can't see otherwise.. Yes there are limitations on where you can fly. The DJI software tells you if you are in a prohibited area. Drone Buddy is another good one.
Outside of the restriction of flying around airports and National Parks, you are able to fly most places. I like to fly mine when we go camping and boating. Honestly, I get many more positive inquiries about the Mavic when I am flying it than negatives.
