- wa8yxmExplorer IIII see articles all the time on how hackers can access this or that device.. Usually the camera that it seems is in everything these days
Well. Since I'm alone in this house you won't pick up any embarassing conservation.. Perhaps me singing to my cat but hey.. I'm not embarassed.
And as for the camera.. Well if the adhesive side of a piece of gorilla tape really interests you that much.. Hack on in. - mich800ExplorerAlexa was the code name the Russians gave operation collusion. Coincidence?

And while you are at it, if the truth is so dangerous, why haven't they just shut down you and all the other truth tellers."
You really need to watch the entire series of "The X Files" again. At the end of the series when things finally get explained, although this is just a story made for Hollywood, there is a riveting element in there that makes you keenly aware that there is more going on than what meets the eye.
What better way to cover a conspiracy than to cause confusion and disclaim any legitimate, real observation that happens by calling the "real" the phony, the nut cases, the tin-foil wacko's, discrediting their personal encounters by calling them nut cases. When, all the while, "they" are using this confusion for their own agenda, hidden beneath the facade is the real intent! UFO? Demon underworld? Parallel Universes? Time Travel? An attempt to create a centralized system to control every movement on every human being on the planet? We will not know until it's too late.
An old time preacher once said, if you take a bucket of pure white paint, and drop a single drop of black paint into the bucket ... it's NEVER pure white again!
So, beneath all the confusion, there's a black drop of paint that we simply don't see!
Hope someone had the opportunity to watch that Netflix movie "IT". (Information Technology) ... not the demonic clown "IT" show. - westernrvparkowExplorer

Then what do you believe they are trying to do? Knowing every single minute detail of my life wouldn't benefit anyone one iota. If they are all seeing and all powerful, what would I have that they could want? My 60 inch TV? Doubt it, they probably have one much bigger and better. Do they want to somehow cheat me out of my parks? it would be a lot easier and cheaper to just buy them or use eminent domain to seize them then it would to study all my various rantings and figure some way to beat me out of them. And why the heck would someone who had the world at their fingertips want an RV park in the first place?westernrvparkowner wrote:
The information they collect and use will be related to your viewing, shopping and other habits. It will be collected electronically, and you will see ads and content that relates to those habits. To me, that isn't an issue and may even be a benefit. Yes, I might get more ads for RVs and hard core narcotics, but at least I am not bombarded with ads for feminine hygiene products and children's toys.
No one is taking the time to watch your webcam. They are not secretly recording your conversations and playing them back at their secret black ops dinners. You can be assured of this because you are not interesting enough for that to be of any value, entertainment-wise or otherwise. All that data mining, data sharing and data storing is done for one reason, to make it easier for them to attempt to get you to part with your money. And as far as I am concerned, if data mining makes it easier for me to find the goods and services I want, that is an advantage.
It's ok, if that is what you believe and BTW, that IS what THEY want you to believe everything will be just fine. :B:C
It is my experience that people who see grand conspiracies everywhere see them because it is more palatable to believe their own shortcomings are the fault of some grand scheme conspiring against them than it is to realize their shortcomings are their own fault. Throughout history people have blamed politics, the weather, their bosses, immigrants, their heritage and countless other things they don't control as a reason they haven't reached the level of success they had hoped to obtain. Occam's Razor is almost always correct. The simplest explanation is the correct explanation. In my opinion that holds true as to data collection. They want to sell you stuff, plain and simple. They don't want to develop some spider web of data to somehow control your thoughts and actions beyond that simple goal.
Well it looks like they have done a very fine job of dumbing down America. :C
And while you are at it, if the truth is so dangerous, why haven't they just shut down you and all the other truth tellers. If they have the power and desire to collect, compile, organize and use for their unsavory purposes all this information they are gathering on the great unwashed, wouldn't they be able to simply press a button and silence the collective voices of all people like you who know the real truth? - RedRocket204Explorer

Pretty standard privacy policy. I don't think I have ever read one where a company did not state they would share the info with their own companies or subsidiaries/partners. - rockhillmanorExplorer II
