Not too long ago, we had a staff photographer receive a photo attachment in an email from/to him. This is not unusual as many of us send ourselves emails w/attachments on the fly. Though he knew he didn't send it to himself as a zip file.
I examined the zip file, and it contained a Javascript file with a trojan downloader associated with Locky ransomware. Nice try, but no cigar.
