Inside on the ceiling of my RV, my Wingard has an arrow pointer on the circle that turns the direction of the antenna. Either get a compass or use a compass app first and determine north in relation to where the arrow on that ring is pointing. Next look at your antenna pointer app with GPS enabled on your smartphone or tablet and set it to map output. It will then show a map with arrows going out in different directions to local channels. Turn your antenna "arrow" pointer in the direction of the most channels. Or skip the app and get yourself a signal finder for about $40. Connect that to your antenna lead, turn it on, and turn the antenna until the most LEDs light. Put the antenna lead back on the TV (I use an A/B switch to keep it connected to both.) Then turn on your TV, scan for channels, open a beer and sit back, watch and enjoy. Simpler and no more turn, scan, turn again, and again and again.
