Too expensive and like RV's there are a boatload of phones out there for much, much less.I have a Kyocera and it was 45 bucks. Does everything I want to accomplish. Good plan too with Boost Mobile (Sprint). 30 bucks a month, unlimited calls, unlimited text and 4 gigs of data.

I will probably buy an iPhoneX about the time they come out with the iPhoneX5.

At my age, 'latest and greatest' is of little importance unless it has a positive impact on what I want to accomplish. That phone has no impact for me.

I'm looking for a new iPhone 7 with 64 gigs of memory...and good deal.

When iPhones (or any smartphone for that matter) require less of my time and cost less rather then more, then they might get my attention again. There is more technology out there then what I need, but it gets to the point where you can't ignore it and you have to deal with it. Phones are now a marketing device that demands your attention. I love the photos, GPS, email, etc but I hate having my day dominated by a phone.

Apple walks away from legacy hardware and software. That forces their (extremely loyal) clientele into unnecessary upgrades.

Apple stuff is well designed, but over-priced. The competition offers better bang for the buck.

You should get an iPhone then because you are already experienced at rebooting when it gets funky or re-downloading the builtin apps when they vaporize. The grass isn't always greener...

I would buy an iPhone before I bought a piece of junk Samsung phone again.

That being said my $230 Moto G5 works just fine with just a few of the typical Android issues that require you to reboot the phone(Does it with Samsung too).

All 3 of my kids, age 26 and up, told me to buy the latest, which is the X. My old Samsung Galaxie 4 is pregnant evidently.
