I've seen a few things on Amazon for leveling trailers wirelessly but they are in the hundreds of dollars. I also found an app called Stay Level on the iOS app store which looks very promising. It requires 2 iOS devices, one in the trailer and one outside. The one sitting on the floor in the trailer is used as the level which communicates with the device outside. The only issue is that they have to be on the same WiFi network. While you can setup one with a hotspot, this is obviously difficult in areas without cell service where hotspot isn't an option.Any other ideas for leveling other than a breaking out the 'ole spirit level?

Well, this may sound a bit corney, but here it goes!Considering my truck has a construction shell on the bed, I put a hook right smack in the middle of the rear window door that lifts up. I then have a 1/2 inch dow rod with another hook in the end. When both ends are hooked together, the rod hangs. Once it quits swinging so much, gravity??? .... does what? It pulls straight down! The rod acts like a plumb line, perfectly straight up and down now.On the trailer I have a set of marks (right smack in the middle of the nose cone) that are straight up and down, and in view through the rear window of the truck and shell.Now, when back up, it doesn't matter how crooked (side to side) the truck is, the rod always hangs down straight. Once the two marks on the trailer nose are exactly parallel, I have a perfect level trailer side to side! It works every time!Front to back, after unhitching? I have a small bubble on my electric tongue jack.Technology is so over rated! Go back to the simple mechanics of gravity and leverage and you too could build a Roman aqueduct that runs a hundred miles with only a inch or two difference in fall from the beginning to the end using nothing but water as a your measuring tool.

Stop the high tech stuff...the one area you can tell level is the stove burners...when you cook, butter in a skillet will run to one side or the other...just put a regular carpenter level on the stove, when you are level front to back, side to side you're done.

I have auto-level, so I get to cheat.

2X on the "stick" method. I'm a techy, but get frustrated when technology doesn't work or is designed poorly.

Beer! Drink the beer and lay empty bottle on floor. If it rolls, camper is not level. Drink another beer, try again. Repeat as necessary. If you don't get it right soon enough,you'll be too drunk to notice.

If you don't drink, a simple $2 bubble level on the tongue will work just fine.

Whiskey Stick... That what a level is called in the trade up here in good ole NH... Of course I wouldn't know for sure if they use good whisky to make them, I've never been that hard up to need to test it.

If by "gadget for leveling" you're referring to a bubble/spirit level, then yes I do. Anything else violates the KISS mandate. :)

I use a free Android app called Clinometer. It doesn't communicate to a second device like you are describing, which would be handy. I use it like a standard level, and usually have to make 2-3 trips in and out of the trailer before I'm done.
