I'm an Apple Certified Technician with 30 years experience on Apple... but not going to get into the Ford/Chevy debate on them. Personally I find them BOTH pains in the butt and a really good income for all those years. I will agree with bcsdguy... if the majority of what you do is surf the net and email do yourself an enormous favor and get a Chromebook. You have to get used to using the Cloud (AKA the Internet) for storage of pictures, documents and app's (AKA programs). Don't think of it as a computer, because it is NOT!! Simply it is a browser with a keyboard...
