You have my envy for hanging in so many years. Personally, I find MACs overall more difficult to troubleshoot and repair, both on the OS level, and especially on the hardware level. Had far more fustrating experiences repairing MACs than PCs by a long shot. And, yes, I do use both PCs and Macs, a Macbook Pro, an iPad, 27" iMAC Core i7, and occasionally, a MacPro Intel Xenon workstation located in my work cubicle. But still prefer using a performance modified DELL PC 90% of the time. Especially, for media intensive tasks. Though do love the iMAC display for Adobe CS6.
