background programs
When I double click a desktop item I have other tabs try to open ,such as website suggestions (2 of those) and load extensions..Any idea how those can be stopped from coming up??

- Sounds like you have some malware installed. Run Malwarebytes or a similar reputable anti-malware program. You might also check to see if you have any suspect toolbars installed on your browsers.

That will probably show more tnan one executes being done.
If that is what is going on, then you have some malware installed.
Usually how that happens is one of two ways.
1.you downloaded a program and didnt unclick some additional software.
2 you responded to a popup while in your browser.
These are malware And not a virous is that what they are doing is generating connection to a specific site And get paid for doing.
There are other ways for this to happen, but those 2 are the most common. ReadyToGo wrote:
