Another option...
When it comes to TV antennas HEIGHT IS MIGHT.
YOu can get a medium size Channel Master or a good size Radio Shack and mount it in the attic (Assuming you do NOT have a metal roof) depending on how good a job you do of picking both antenna and mount you can even put in a rotor so you can change direction and snag more stations. What's more this is a "long term" weather and sunlight proof install. And anti-antenna folks who write rules for HOAs and get paid by Comcast et-al to write in "No Antennas" can go suck eggs.
