Ivylog - I missed your post earlier so thanks for coming back. I'm a newb to this stuff so I'm hoping you can answer my questions please...
1) It doesn't say on the ebay listing but is there any reason why the better antenna you recommended here http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=390640614962 wouldn't work with a Mac computer?
2) How much signal would I lose if I put the antenna inside pointing through the front windshield of my motorhome as opposed to being outside?
3) And how much signal would I lose if it was inside and pointing through the approximate 1 7/16" thick wall of my motorhome (comprised of 3/16" thick plywood paneling + 3/4" thick foam insulation + 5/16" thick foil backed radiant barrier + 1/8" to 3/16" thick fiberglass wall = 1 7/16" thick total)?
4) If I used it with the LAN adapter you recommended, could I get an even stronger signal if I put that wifi signal booster http://www.pcnation.com/web/details.asp?item=KT5750 between the antenna and adapter?
5) I don't know what to look for in the specs of these things, so what is it about the specs of the second antenna you recommended that make it more powerful than the first antenna?
Thanks!

OP, the items I posted above will let you sit in the parking lot of MD or where I spend the winter... without 6 2-3 bar signals... with 10-12 4-5 bar signals. Best bang for the buck for snagging free signals.
