What most folks do not realize is that in both Motor homes and trailers there are loles a=plenty already drilled. Now most of 'em are stuffed full of "expanding foam insulaiton" but you can easily push a wire though that if you try.
What are the holes... Lines for water and sewer piping. usually go into a "Tunnel" (sept or riser along the wall) on one or the other side of the RV. they come up under the sink and so on as well.
Motor homed have a lot of holes in teh fireweall as well. where wires, cables and other stuff pass through.
But alas you are gonna need to spend the money.
There may be a cable to the roof (Spot often marked with a decal) where they have buried both a coax cable and 12 volt leads.. IF you know where to look, the other end of the coax is in the TV area marked "SAT". - KM_RollingExplorerThank you for all the info. Appreciate it!

I have a Sleek that I've had for several years (Model 2B5125) and use it with an S7 and external antenna. Is the WeBoost more capable? Thanks.
On edit: I emailed WeBoost and they answered in minutes. "That booster is a 3G only booster and your new Samsung S7 is a 4G phone, which means that your phone is looking for a 4G signal over a 3G signal, which in turn means that your phone is bypassing the 3G booster. If you are interested in boosting 4G you would need to upgrade to a 4G booster." - RoyBExplorer IIThis too is not what you are asking about but gets me on the internet when we are OFF-GRID camping. I too had pretty good luck with the older VERIZON MIFI 2200 unit. I sit mine in a WILSON CRADLE in my OFF-ROAD POPUP and the CRADLE has an external Antenna connection. My setup is only for 2G and 3G modes. This is a 3GB service plan add-on to my Verizon Cell Phone ACCt for around $35 and creates a local SECURED with PASSWORD WIFI HOTSPOT zone a couple of hundred of feet around my POPUP trailer. Don't have to mess with the McDonalds or loaded down WIFI signals from the camp grounds anymore.
This allows me to use up to five devices on the internet using VERIZON connections etc...
Of course this only works where you can pick up VERIZON which is just about everywhere. My Verizon Cell phone does the same time except my cell phone is older and does not broadcast WIFI hotspot zones...
This setup is not very robust and only has a slow speed connection. I only use it for checking into the internet for paying some bills, keeping in contact with the kids on social media, and some limited surfing of the internet. This setup is not robust enough to do any major downstreaming of Movies etc... A typical downstream movie will use 1GB of data for a three hour movie...
VERIZON does however have other MIFI units that will do some of this for you but it cost alot more...
I just recently changed the MIFI 2200 for the MIFI 6620L JETPACK for a 5GB Data plan with Verizon. This costs $50 a month with Verizon. Works great here around the house but since I am temporarily shut down camping with my OFF-ROAD Camper haven't got play with it yet doing any off-road camping. I know I will need to update my WILSON CRADLE now as well...
Roy Ken - Isaac-1ExplorerHey, I just bought that exact same antenna for my AT&T Exite Explore hotspot, it arrived in the mail from Amazon today.

I have a verizon jetpack that I use for WiFi in my RV. The jetpack has connectors for an external antenna. I found an external antenna on amazon that is compatible with my Verizon 7730L jetpack and it works great, it cost me about $27 and I just mounted it inside my 5th wheel.
Now I get internet access almost anywhere I go, even when my verizon cell phones can't make a phone call.
Of course I had to buy the verizon jetpack and add it to my data plan, but I spend several months a year in the RV so it is well worth it for me.
Here is the external antenna that I use for my verizon 7730L jetpack:
Jetpack antenna
Note this will NOT work on a cell phone, just the verizon 7730L jetpack.
I know this doesn't exactly answer your question, but it works well for me.
X2 for external antennas. Nearly every jetpack has external connectors. - LatnerNomad

I bought one of these a few months ago for $175. We have a spot we go to where the service is intermittent and this gives us a reliable connection. - 96Bounder30EExplorer IIMoved from tech issues
