I'm getting ready to change carriers for the internet and phone and after reading all the posts here about Verizon rates, changing rates, throttling back, contract problems, etc. I don't think I would ever consider them. And they do not have the best coverage as they have seemed to convince everyone.
While I can't vouch for Sprint's nationwide coverage, I have spent a great deal of time in out of the way places on my last 3 trips around the country, and Verizon (through Millenicom) has provided far better coverage than AT&T. I use data on both networks, and while there have been a few locations where only AT&T was available, it has been rare where I had no Verizon available. Verizon is usually faster as well...
