So if the generator on-line was $1,000 including shipping and normally $1,100 in the store and they matched that $1,000 price in the store you would be not OK with paying that without having to wait? I would not have a problem with that. Nowhere is it written that they have to pay their overhead, stock the item, and give it to you for less than your cost on-line would be and I for one would not expect them to.
Fortunately you are free to order it on-line and pay the shipping if the same cost without having to wait is not good enough for you.
