What about this sounds "insane"? The fact that price matching goes on at all? Or is it that all costs associated with online purchasing is factored in when "price matching"?
If the latter:
As others point out, matching internet pricing means just that- matching the amount one would pay to buy something online, which cost of course includes shipping.
Nothing whatever "insane" about that.
I have never heard of a store doing this! Including CW! Almost any store, including CW, will price match the internet price, without adding shipping costs. In fact, most stores will now allow you to order on line, get it delivered to a store, with no shipping costs. Don't think CW yet does this, but I would expect them to match the internet price. I have certainly seen some items where the in store price is actually less. So give me a factual case where CW has said they would match the price + shipping. Bet nobody can do it.
