The cost of shipping goods to a retail location is a cost associated with operating the establishment, as are payroll, rent, utilities, etc... Wrong. The cost of running a brick and mortar retail location is a lot higher than shipping an item to you from a warehouse. The item was not manufactured in the store so obviously the retailer also had to pay shipping to get it to the store. Just because you see it sitting on the shelf in the store does not mean there were no shipping charges. I see no reason a retailer has to match the on-line price and eat his shipping costs. If you aren't happy with the price in the store then order it on line and wait.
