Carlinkit wireless Apple car play adaptor

Question

Trying to put this in my 2021 Buick Enclave and it is giving me fits. Once I get it to work it will quit 5 minutes after I start it. If it’s working when I get out of the car it won’t work when I get back in. Can’t tell you how many hours I’ve spent on this thing. Thinking it’s defective I’m sending it back for a replacement. Anyone have experience with these wireless adaptors.

FYI, make sure the bluetooth from phone to car itself is forgotten. Otherwise the car bt will override the adapter bt.

I dont have one, but have checked into them a bunch. Lots of ppl like them, but they can be somewhat PIA to figure out.

Got my second one and it was able to get updates as the first one never could. Down loaded one update and it started working then quit.  Did another update and it works great. Connects to my phone in 10-15 seconds.
