I have a TracFone that I keep in my truck as a spare in case I forget to bring my iPhone (which I do often). The smartphone (LG Optimus Fuel) cost me $10 at Dollar General and there's a $20 card you can buy that gives me 180 minutes, 180 texts, and 180 MB that's good for 90 days. Minutes, texts, and data rolls over if you don't use it. If you're not a big phone user, this should work for you. The phone is not top of the line, but for $10, it's decent. Has camera, Android, works on wifi, too, to save data.
