I've been tracking this thread for a couple of weeks and I think I've processed all the information, including what I've been able to get from Verizon customer support.
The one thing I was told by customer support that I'm not sure I've seen here is that I can only turn the broadband connect feature on-and-off once per billing period. This would mean that, if I needed it for two trips within a monthly billing period, I'd have to leave it on until the end of the second trip. Assuming this is the case, it would require some careful advance planning.
Is this true or is this another case of misinformation?
In case it's plan-related, I'm on the basic family plan and would be upgrading to an LG8360 in order to get the needed feature.
