No, very few RV parks offer good internet service. Mostly because they are no near a good backbone so even if they can get service it's too expensive to buy enough for everyone. Once you start chopping up the total data available among all the RV's your share is pretty slim. In most cases, even when fairly good speeds are available they are available because the RV park blocks the things that eat up the most data like streaming and file sharing.
You just need to separate what you can ONLY do on the internet from what you might be able to do from other sources such as satellite TV. If the answer is "it all comes from the internet" then you can rent one of the business Verizon devices for less than $200/month and get somewhere around 400GB/month. Some claim unlimited but I would really question that. The big caveat is that Verizon is actively trying to shut down the folks that are renting these business plans as they violate the original owners terms of service so you have to be willing to take the hit (original cost plus some part of 1 months service, max) if things go bad.

We have been traveling the western states the last few month and have found that AT&T's coverage sucks big time. When our contract is up in November we will be switching to Verizon. Seems anytime I don't have coverage the other guy does and he's on Verizon Network.

Sly, the best phone coverage company providers in the Southwest (Tri State, AZ., CA., NV.) for phone coverage is Verizon. Especially, in Western AZ.

I have been using Verizon data for years when traveling and can not remember the last time I could not get data coverage. I just turn on tethering before leaving and use that as a WiFi for all or devices.

It seems like I go through about 30 to 40 GB per month but have had the unlimited data plan for many years and so it's not a big deal. Needless to say when we need new phones or ?? we just buy them outright rather than give up the old data plan.

Are you sure that's not a typo? I work remote on an encrypted VPN using a LOT of data and it only comes to 25-30G /month.

What are you doing to consume 100-150 GB a month? That is an incredible amount of data. Is all your media streamed? Even if you used data for everything, I still think it would be hard to come close to using even 70GB of data.

There is no such thing as unlimited mobile data. A few companies advertise but if you read the fine print they throttle it back or add extra costs if you go over a certain amount it data. And it's not very much.

You need to ask yourself how much data you plan on consuming. Do you stream movies and download a lot of entertainment or are you a casual user that checks email, social media and weather and occasional on line banking.

If you stream you will need to pay for a lot of data. Probably in the 20-25GB range if not more.

If casual use then I am certain you can get away with a plan of 5GB or less.

VZ hotspot/Jetpack is probably the best coverage and device available.

If you already have a smart phone, check to see if it can be used as a hotspot. Will use more data sop perhaps your plan may need to be adjusted but it may save you from buying an additional piece of hardware like a jetpack.
