Firefox is plagued by memory leaks and buggy updates. Now it is leaving behind its strongest benefit- addons.
Mozilla has also adopted the "idiot's interface" for configuration. Moving and hiding options and configurations is a page from winblows' playbook.
Every few "updates" loses a fair number of addons.
Recently Firefox is difficult to install and run/test multiple versions, with no rollback feature.
If you run ff update, it is a one way trip. If you lose features or functionality, too bad.
After many, many years of firefox usage, I am on the fence.
