Bought a Motorola SB6141 at SAMs that was even cheaper than Amazon after taxes. Don't know how you can activate it on line when you have to disconnect your old modem. Called, didn't take too long. They wanted to give me Blast service for the same price I was paying for performance starter. I asked if they were going to raise the price a few months after. He said no it would always be the same price as Performance. OK, then he said they were going to send out a TV receiver for free. Ah Oh! Now the fish is starting to smell! Said I don't want TV because I travel and take my Sattilite dish. He said OK we will not send it and I could still have the updated Internet.
That was yesterday afternoon. Internet test speed is no faster than before. Looked at my service agreement on line. New modem shows up but only shows my Performance Starter service. It also show that I have a TV receiver that has not been activated!! I can see the BS coming my way!
