well that stinks. Have you tried clearing the cookies on your browser? I hate doing that on my computer but it might help in your situation.
Launch internet explorer. In the top right corner click on the little gear icon (or press ALT-X). Click on About Internet Explorer. It should show IE11 and there should be a check mark in the box to allow it install new versions automatically. Close the About window.
To clear cookies on IE 11
- Select Tools (via the Gear Icon) > Safety > Delete browsing history.
- Make sure to UNCHECK Internet Files and Cookies then click Delete.
- You will get a confirmation at the bottom of the window once it has successfully cleared your cache and cookies.

- Launch Microsoft Edge (looks like an IE icon)
- In the top right corner click on the three horizontal dots.
- Click on SETTINGS.
- Scroll down to Clear browsing dataA and click on CHOOSE WHAT TO CLEAR.
- Make sure there is a check mark in Browsing history, Cookies, and Cached Data.
- Click CLEAR.
Test to see if the issue is resolved.
If not, you might want to try running MalwareBytes (free for 30 days) to see if your computer picked up malware which a typical virus scanner will ignore.

The following questions are more for general information and not necessarily because I think they will uncover a smoking gun or anything. But they might help someone else give ideas on this.
What version of windows are you running? Is it home, pro, ultimate, 32 bit or 64 bit?
If Windows 7 you can click on the windows icon in the bottom left corner of the screen to open the start menu. Then in the second column RIGHT CLICK on COMPUTER and select PROPERTIES. A system window should open. At the top of the window it will tell you what version of Win 7 you are running (windows 7 home, Windows 7 professional etc) a bit further down it will tell you if it's a 32 bit or 64 bit operating system.
If windows 10 Click on the windows icon in the bottom left corner of the screen. Click on SETTINGS (little gear icon) What version of Windows 10 does it report? Is it 32 or 64 bit?
