- MrWizardModeratorI don't think so
I think the Bionic has a micro HDMI port, but this is ONE way to an HDMI input port on an HDTV etc..
video data is not normally carried via USB port
maybe somebody knows of an APP or a work around - dan-nickieExplorerLoad PDANET on your Bionic (I have same)
Wife's Galaxy Tab connects to the Bionic WIFI and has internet access.
Run the GPS on the Tab with larger screen.
P.S. I have a Car Dock for the Bionic that keeps it charged.
THe Bionic actually make a WIFI hotspot throughout the RV, so other things connect to it wireless also, for instance the laptop. - sch911ExplorerU'mmmmm The tablet can run the GPS on it's own. No need for a smartphone whatsoever. Just install a stand alone GPS solution like Co Pilot or Sygic (my favorite). I use a Google Nexus 7 with Sygic GPS in the MH all the time!
- MrWizardModeratorthe tablet will need a 'data connection' to keep the route maps on the screen
very few of us can navigate using only gps co-ordinates, i know i can't
the Native ipad or android gps, needs a data connection''
unless you use an app than can pre-load and store the maps along your 'planned' route - 1775ExplorerThere are GPS navigation apps that do not need data to function. They will load the maps to the tablet memory, including Google Maps when you preplan a route you can have it download all required maps before leaving. Also as stated above, Copilot and Sygic store the whole country's maps on the tablet like a standalone GPS. With any of these you are navigating with a map screen and moving vehicle icon also just like a standalone GPS.
None of the tablets are made to be used as a "monitor" display for another device. - dan-nickieExplorerBut if the GPS/Maps are in the tablet memory, how does the DW check facebook, upload pictures, shop online, check campground websites, etc.?
- 96Bounder30EExplorer IIWhat you want to do is easily possible and very inexpensive IF you are not 100% stuck on just a tablet.......Motorola made a "Lapdock" for the Bionic......essentially turning your smart phone into a netbook computer.....just drop the phone into a slot on the back of the lapdock and you instantly have a large screen and keyboard to use......

DW gets kinda car sick when she's reading and that sort of thing. She does play games on her Razor, but not for very long at a time. She does make comments from time to time about my driving and reaches for the grab bar at other times.
36 years of accident free driving in an industrial laundry truck and 13 years of the same after that in a school bus and she still verbally does the driving. She refuses to even sit behind the wheel and do anything but the light check. - hersheyExplorer

I know what you mean: The wife does all the driving, we just hold the wheel. - sch911Explorer

Co Pilot and Sygic do not need data connections. All map data is pre loaded.
