Credit Card apps

As with all apps you need to see what permissions it requires and what information it wants you to share. I am not a big app user but do use the Bank of America app because, similar to your situation, my only account with them is my credit card.

I use a Wells Fargo issued app on both iPhone and iPad as well as their main website. All three platforms provide different levels of function. All three are secure and support two phase security if you want it. When you sign in it sends a 6 digit code to your cell you must enter to gain access. Can’t speak to android phones but I feel secure using either web or app on my iPhone.

Very safe and very convenient.

I got more fraud transactions using plastics than my iPhone banking apps.

Of course, we are a family of software engineers and fully e and connected.

It's small and secure and quick

However the app from DWs bank aka Chase Bank is a big piece of bloat ware, that has an update twice a month, has gotten huge and slow and has more features and advertising than Carter has pills

How would you carry your Medicare ID card? Driver's license? Cash for tips? Library card? I hate the idea of having to carry a phone everywhere. Too bulky, too fragile, I can drop my wallet with no issues.

I use an online banking app since my checking account bank no longer has a branch near us, so I can make deposits using my phone. Don't know of any other real benefits to a banking app.

We bank (and have insurance with) USAA, which has only one physical location in San Antonio, TX. Therefore, all our banking is on-line. I have the USAA app on my phone to deposit the odd check that we receive (all of our regular income streams are direct deposit). I have used the phone app once to transfer some money to my daughter's account. USAA is very security conscious and updates the app and their web site regularly to maintain security. You would have to check into your bank's security practices.

I guess you haven’t heard, there’s an app for that. I have all those cards in my phone. If I carried all those bits of plastic and cardboard around my wallet would be 3” thick.

I've heard, but "it ain't necessarily so". And so far the digital license isn't accepted in many states.

I carry all the stuff I need in a wallet not much thicker than my phone. It's been like that for 40 years, I hate a thick wallet, and have never found the need to haul all that stuff around.

We shouldn't have to carry those things at all.. if the medical business would ever get out of the 1950s.

Depositing a paper check by taking a picture of it is the coolest thing ever.
