My Dash Cam arrived yesterday, bought the storage disk today and will trial over the weekend. Will feedback after but thus far looks good. Silly the disk cost nearly what the cam did.

what "disk" is used? not just a SD card? of course my SD card at $12 cost about as much as my unit at $17. :)
Incidentally I discovered that I can not just pop my SD card out and poke it into my computer, or at least I haven't figured out how to get it to read right. I have to pull out the camera from the vehicle and plug it into the USB port.

Micro SD 32 GB
yep, I use 16 GB ones at about $20, $11.78 when I bought the camera.
and mine has none of those "defects" pointed out in a previous post. mount is fine, picture is adequate for my needs, and $120 cheaper than the one posted. but yes, I do consider it to be a toy, until I have need for it, then it is no longer a "toy".
If I want some footage to remember a vacation, I can use $1000s worth of digital camera equipment to take that.
