Direct TV
Took my direct tv dish on the road and of course I can't my local channels. I don't want to buy more equipment. Is there a way to get around this or get the major channels somehow else. Thanks, Dave

For the person with the Kingdome, you have to have your receiver check your new switch each time you change from a stationary dish to an rv dish.

I used to have Dish and I really like them. The only reason why I changed to Direct is because they negotiated with TWC for the TWC SPORTS Network, and I like to watch the Los Angeles Lakers play. But that is the only reason why I changed. Other then that I never had trouble with my Kingdome locking into satellite 110 or 119. And like the previous post for getting the local channels while traveling, all I had to do is call Dish and give them an address where I was staying and they would beam the local channels from the closest city in the area.
