Depending on your mounting, it will probably be as good or better than a batwing. In either case, about 70 miles or so is generally max with UHF. With my late-model batwing, and the Winegard booster inside, I have no trouble with 60+ miles direct over flatland. Much past that, the signal just ain't there at all. I have an amplified flat window antenna at our S&B, about 50 miles is good.
