I have one of these for the house and have used it with the OFF-ROAD POPUP trailer I have. It works better then my BATWING but the directivity was a pain. Had to be zero'ed in on the signal.. The BATWING picked up the same signal and didn't have to move it around much.

I was also afraid of the wind load in my case.
This cost was much less than what I read on your's... $69
My setup using the BATWINg antenna back in the woods is hard to beat for me...
