Here's the easy way. We have done this for decades on our boat. Sign up for service where you are and get whatever locals they offer in that area. Once your up and running and ready to travel, call DirecTV and give them the address for a campground near Los Angeles as your SERVICE address. Be sure they don't change your mailing address for this. You will now get the Los Angeles network feeds which are what you get for DNS. If you travel to the east coast, switch to a New York Address. Easy and no hassles. This is how we have done it on our boat since 1995. Chuck
