I am confused! In your first post, and several subsequent ones, you state you are trying to connect to your Weingard Carryout dome type antenna to get DTV HD signals. It is a well documented fact that *NONE* of the portable dome antennas have the capability to receive DTV HD channels (i.e. satellites 99 and 103). They just don't do it for DTV. If you want HD with DTV you need a rooftop antenna (Trav'ler or RF Mogul) and/or a tripod mounted SL3 dish antenna.
Adding a SWM8 kit allows you to connect a non-SWM antenna to a SWM only receiver. But it only works for SD channels as that is all the antenna understands.
Am I missing something here?
