DirecTV receiver only numbers on every other transponder
A guy several sites over from me is having this problem and I can't remember what to do to solve this. He has a 98 signal but gets no picture.

I had a similar problem once and I was actually looking at the DISH SAT TV signal instead of DirecTv SAT TV signal which are very close to each other in the southern skies...
Found the correct satellite and all was well...
