Is your coax connected to the SWM input on the HR24?
You need to use the receiver signal strength or a meter at the dish. You could have equipment problems but your posts suggest this is new to you and it usually takes a few times to learn the process.
I have used the dishpointer app on my phone, the compass on my phone, the dishpointer website. All 3 settings are correct Elevation 33*, azimuth 137, tilt 107 on the dish (those are the figures the receiver, directv and dishpointer give me.Those settings are approximate and rarely will the dish be pointed correctly just using those numbers. Think about how much a compass can be off due to a number of factors. There is a small window where the dish has to be pointed.
