Not an expert but I use reciever from home in my TT and take it to our cabin in TN and hook it up to an old dish 500 do a check sws and it getsthe HD channel but not locals unless I call dish to change locations. The tailgater works great for the TT but also can use dish tripod with it. Point dish south have a signal meter and can get 110 and 119. Just easier with he tailgater. Generally a one beer job but sometimes takes two.
