Dish Network compatibility??????????

I'm in a location right now (Roanoke, VA market) where the locals are only on the western arc, but my sight line in that direction was blocked unless I raised my dish about 8' higher. The eastern arc is an easy hit here, but of course the locals are not there. Since my primary interest is the national network programming, rather than the actual Roanoke locals, I had Dish set my service address to a Charlotte, NC address, where the locals are on the eastern arc, and the spot beam reaches here, as well as our next overnight stop in SC. As TechWriter said, having the capability to use either arc is very useful as we travel around the country.
