I also have a Class B & used to use a 500 dish with my 211k box. This was set on the ground to be stable. I'm surprised that yours being mounted on your van doesn't move around when someone is moving inside from the van shifting & then lose the signal.
I then used a meter at the dish to align very fast. Now I use the automatic tailgator .
Moving around in the RV never affected the Dish 500. I have all the parts except the arm for the WA and will test the EA Sunday. I plan on covering the LNBF for 72.5 and 77 and concentrate on 61.5. Dish HD is new to me.
