Nope. But if you're going on a long trip (out of range of your local TV stations), then you might want to contact DISH and have them change your Service Address to your current location.

Port 1, 2, or 3 will do. It doesn't matter which two -- just don't use the 4th one.
Keep in mind that if you're using a Western Arc dish like the 1000.2, you should peak off sat 119. For Eastern Arc, use sat 72. So if you use a signal strength meter, you may want to label coax 119 (or 72).
