Some campgrounds only have a few stations, whether cable or not.

Do you suggest dish or Direct TV service. Winegard came with unit so it wouldn't be difficult to add. We don't want to install either at home. We usually travel for a month at a time (4 times a year).
You are going to have to pay for them one way or another either with usingt your home address for dish/direct or by buying/having it installed the King Dome for over $1,000.
The antenna that comes with your RV will net you at any given time over 20 channels. Why do you need more than that?
Been RV'ing full time for over 6 years and on the darkest rainiest day I have never been bored staying inside the MH watching all the channels that come over the air with the RV antenna for
FREE.
