We got scammed by them too. we were promised the best of 10MB up load speeds, (moderate speeds) never saw over .25 MBPS
We couldn't even open their web page because the speeds were so slow the connection would time out and disconnect. We complained and complained got a service tech to come out and inspect the installation he told the Dish supervisor the service was as fast as it could be at .25 MBPS

We told the representative that if they could not provide the service I was paying for, to disconnect us.
They did, and charged us the $350.00 early disconnect fee. they broke the contract, we paid.

I'm now on Comcast cable for internet connection. at 30.0MBPS. at a lower cost.

every TV ad you see from Dish is a freaking lie.

The OP has a RV service question from what I read...not a home account.

I've only had a couple of relatively minor issues with my Dish account, but I found the "DIRT" (Dish Internet Response Team) to be much more helpful than the phone customer service reps. Check any thread at the Dish Support Forums and look for the names in green. Their sigs usually include the days/hours they're on duty. Sending a PM that included my account number and PIN has worked well for me.

Dish TV provides internet service?

My guess would be that they did not get you on the "pay as you go" plan as described on dishformyrv.com. May have you on a more permanent home type plan.
You might try calling 1-888-854-9535, a number that appears on dishformyrv.com for help/information.

No, they don't, but they do re-sell other providers satellite internet service and call it their own. Usually Dish re-sells the Wildblue/Excede services but sometimes it's the newer Hughesnet Gen4.
