Not on the 211 it has a single tuner so only one channel at a time. A 722 has two tuners and other receivers also have two tuners. Most of the recent receivers will accept a hard drive as well to provide additional storage capacity.
If you are using the Tailgater antenna from Dish there is another receiver beside the 211 that will work. I don't remember the model number and I think it is a dual tuner model. You'll need to do some research to find the model.
