DTV blew away my programming, nightmare restoring it

It's actually more common that you will have problem then you will be successful when trying to change locals with DirecTV. Dish Network is very RV friendly and it can even be done (usually easier) by using their chat option and knowing exactly the information they want.
Getting DTV to change your local a couple of times per year is pretty easy if you just tell them you have moved to your Summer (Winter, Spring, Fall) home. Trying to do it once a month or so can often be a challenge.
