I think the bigger problem was that word of this plan had taken legs well beyond the RV world. Even Google News picked up the story. After our experiences with the Millenicom and Omnilynx Verizon plans, I didn't have high expectations for this deal to fly for long. These Verizon deals always seem to be no-contract plans, and that leaves it open for either side to exit at will. Fortunately, our low cost unlimited AT&T Mobley Connected Car and 250GB Homebase plans are still doing well, and both are available as contract plans, suggesting some commitment to maintaining them on AT&T's part.
