I've been a frontier customer for many years when verizon sold the oregon fios system to frontier. I've always used outlook for mail, and found it to be virtually the same under verizon as frontier, and very very seldom use the frontier webmail.
and you can set up outlook so when you delete a email in outlook it will delete it on the frontier server next time you check email.
